About

Pontiac Lodge is a family-owned business nestled in the heart of the Laurentian Mountains, directly on Summerville Lake, with more than 50 lakes nearby, in hunting and fishing Zone 10 of Quebec's Outaouais region. With no towns close by, no private cottages along the shoreline, and access to forests and uncleared bush, the lodge offers top-quality fishing and hunting year-round. Fishing (April 26 to March 31) targets brook trout, lake trout, rainbow and brown trout, great northern pike, walleye and smallmouth bass. Hunting covers moose (bow and rifle), black bear (6-day packages) and birds (ruffed grouse, spruce grouse, sharp-tailed grouse, gray partridge, ducks, Canada geese and woodcock). Lodging is in the main lodge (sleeps 17, seats up to 45 for meals) or in 6 private lakefront cabins (2 to 8 people, 45 beds) with running water, bathrooms with shower/tub and kitchen facilities. Family-style dining (American plan) or self-catered (housekeeping plan). The expert guiding services of Shawn Sullivan (over 20 years of bow and rifle experience) are available. Once an exclusive private club, the lodge has welcomed sportsmen and families for over 100 years. It also hosts corporate retreats.
