La Pourvoirie Nadeau

About
A family outfitter run by the same family for more than 40 years, La Pourvoirie Nadeau (Nadeau Outfitters, formerly Nadeau Hunting and Fishing) works a large territory in the township of Sheenboro, in the Outaouais, in the heart of the Laurentian mountains (hunting zones 10, 12 and 25). Black bear is the house specialty: baiting stations maintained without interruption for over forty years, with both spring and fall hunts, run over six days and taken by rifle, bow, crossbow or black powder. Moose hunting also runs six days, through miles and miles of hardwood swamps and marshes. On the water, the lakes hold Great Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass from June through September — bring your own motor (7.5 h.p. or less, for the safety of the parties). Lodging is European plan in four housekeeping camps (propane fridge, stove, running water, electricity, indoor facilities and a shower house), plus an outpost tent camp reserved for archery hunters. Hunters bring their own food and bedding.

The /reservations page shows '$800.00 per week for cabin' without stating the currency, while the bear-hunt rate on the same page is explicitly labelled in U.S. funds ('$800.00 U.S.'). The figure is therefore recorded as evidence but held out of the published price pending confirmation of the currency — a wrong price is worse than none. Four housekeeping camps, plus an outpost tent camp reserved for archery hunters. European plan: guests bring their own food and bedding. Read 2026-09-20.
