Pourvoirie du Lac Laflamme lies in the heart of the Monts-Valin, a region known as one of the largest wild (non-stocked) brook-trout basins in the world. The territory holds more than 35 lakes easily reached by car, including Lac Laflamme itself (39 km²), prized for its wild brook trout and trophy catches — several trout over one kilo are landed there every year. For hunting, this lightly-hunted territory offers big and small game (moose, black bear, small game) with a big-game success rate of about 90% and a limited number of hunters. Access : By road

Road access in the heart of the Monts-Valin via the Zec Martin-Valin (per the 'How to get there' page). Take Route 172 East toward Tadoussac, pass the village of Saint-Fulgence, then at km marker 90 turn left onto road R-0200 (chemin de la Zec Martin-Valin). Stop at the Zec gate to register (fee). Drive to the km 40 fork and bear right onto the Chemin Forestier. From km 63, follow the signs for the outfitter's sites: left for 15 km for the American plan, the VIP chalet and L'Aurore Boréale, or keep right for 18 km for the European plan.
