La Pourvoirie Caribou de Kuujjuaq welcomes sport anglers to Nunavik, at the very top of Quebec, where the Koksoak River meets Ungava Bay. Atlantic salmon on the Koksoak are fished alongside an authorized Inuk guide — the only way a visitor can chase these big northern salmon — while Steward Lake and Three Lakes, on the community lands of Kuujjuaq, are open for lake trout, brook trout, Arctic char and northern pike. The summer season runs from June 1 to September 7, under the midnight sun and across treeless tundra scenery. Fishing is single-hook only; a land-access authorization permit from the landholding corporation is required in addition to the provincial fishing licence.

No operator website, no Google listing and no outfitter Facebook page publishes a rate: booking and pricing go through direct contact. For information only (figures NOT used as a package price): the landholding corporation's fishing authorization permit for Kuujjuaq Category I and II lands is listed at $50 for 1 day and $100 for 1 week on nunaliit.ca (Nayumivik page), which expressly disclaims any guarantee of accuracy. Those are land-access fees, not the price of the outfitting service. A valid provincial fishing licence and a salmon licence are required on top. Summer fishing season runs June 1 to September 1; for the 2026 season, fishing on the Koksoak is allowed Monday to Friday only. Retention limit: 4 salmon regardless of size (1 salmon over 30 cm per day).

Kuujjuaq is not connected to Quebec's road network: access is by scheduled flight to Kuujjuaq Airport. Salmon fishing takes place on the Koksoak River downstream of the village, with an authorized Inuk guide. Before fishing or hunting on Category I and II lands you must pick up a physical authorization permit from the Nayumivik landholding corporation in Kuujjuaq; the provincial licence must be obtained beforehand. The area lies in hunting and fishing zone 23 North.
