Auberge Wedge Hills Lodge - Circuits Péninsule d'Or

About
In the heart of the subarctic, just above the 57th parallel north in Nunavik, northern Quebec, Wedge Hills Lodge sits perched on a hilltop overlooking the majestic George River, renowned for its Atlantic salmon and brook trout fishing. The location is the main attraction: far from the urban bustle, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and rare wildlife. Accessible by air only, the lodge offers all-inclusive fly-fishing packages departing from Montreal — trout (brook trout, lake trout, freshwater char), Atlantic salmon, and sea-run Arctic char fished by helicopter in Northern Labrador. Adventure and wildlife-photography tours on the 'Golden Peninsula' (Golden Peninsula Tours) round out the offering: guided and autonomous treks in the Torngat Mountains, fjord-and-iceberg discovery tours, and a polar-bear photo safari. Comfortable double-occupancy lodge accommodation, chef-prepared meals (American plan), professional guides (one per two guests), Wi-Fi and a wood-fired hot tub.
