Gaspé Coastal welcomes fly anglers to the Nadeau House, a fully restored 19th-century home on the banks of the celebrated Grand Cascapedia River in Cascapedia-Saint-Jules. Built on the site of a former sawmill, the house sleeps 8 rods in 6 queen bedrooms and 2 king rooms, paired two by two around a shared bathroom, with a wader room, an in-house fly shop and Wi-Fi. The flagship 5-day, 6-night package is all-inclusive: a guided fishing program you shape day by day, lodging, all meals, beverages, fishing licence, standard river access, a demo rod and reel, and airport transfers. Three genuinely different fisheries sit side by side here on Chaleur Bay: Atlantic salmon on the Grand Cascapedia, Petite Cascapedia and Bonaventure rivers, floated in a 20- or 26-foot canoe poled by your guide; striped bass on vast, lightly pressured flats, sight-fished from a poling skiff or worked in deeper water from the Mako boat; and native sea-run brook trout at the end of long days deep in the backcountry. The season runs from June through September, each species with its own peak. Full-day and half-day outings are also available. Evenings bring everyone to the big communal table for market cooking built around Atlantic seafood and produce from the region's farms.
