About

Pourvoirie Fournier Plein Air is located in the heart of the Gaspé countryside, in the Matapédia Valley, where moose hunting, fly fishing for Atlantic salmon and dog sledding are all on the program. Fishing is done on the Matapédia, Matane and Cap-Chat rivers with professional guides (à la carte format or packages with lodging). Moose hunting takes place on private lands in zones 01 and 02, several near the Matane Wildlife Reserve. The outfitter also runs a kennel of some thirty Alaskan husky dogs and offers dog-sledding outings year-round. Lodging in two fully equipped cabins (European plan): the Chalet Principal in St-Vianney (up to 8 people, available year-round) and the Chalet Matalik in Sainte-Florence, on the bank of the Matapédia River.

Access : By road

Road access. Main cabin and office address: 130, 1er rang Nord, St-Vianney, Québec. Chalet Matalik is in rang Beaurivage Nord, Sainte-Florence, on the Matapédia River (near the Matalik pool). Chalet Principal is about 10 minutes from the Matane River and 35 minutes from the Matapédia River.
