About

A family-run outfitter with exclusive rights, founded in 1946 by Adrien Boismenu and run by his sons since 2002, Pourvoirie la Réserve Boismenu holds an exclusive 36 km² territory at Lac-du-Cerf, in zone 10-East, bordering the Papineau-Labelle wildlife reserve. Its 11 fully equipped cabins all sit on the shore of Lac Perras. For fishing, Lac Perras holds native trout — brook trout and Arctic charr — while Lac Longeau holds native walleye and stocked trout, and five more stocked small lakes are fished in rotation, one per day per cabin, with a rowboat and oars. For hunting, the territory is divided into exclusive sectors of 2 to 4 km²: white-tailed deer (only males with 4 points or more have been taken since 2013, with the stands baited daily), moose, black bear over baited sites, wild turkey with or without a guide, and small game (ruffed grouse, snowshoe hare, woodcock). Between outings there is canoeing and kayaking, hiking, wildlife and nature watching, or simply a lakeside stay. Packages are all-inclusive except meals: cabin, access rights, boat with motor and gas, cooler, BBQ and campfire pit.

Access : By road

Road access. Final stretch (the same whatever your starting point): at Lac-du-Cerf, at the 'slow to 50 km/h' sign, a little further on your left you will see the outfitter's sign (chemin Léonard). Turn left and drive about 2.6 km along chemin Léonard. At the outfitter's sign on your left, take the bush road for about 1 km, then cross the small bridge on your right: you are now on the outfitter's territory. Continue on the main road for about 6 km to the reception post. Do NOT take chemin du Lac Kar-Ha-Kon, it is closed. Site GPS coordinates: 46.306982, -75.464794; GPS coordinates of the outfitter's entrance: 46.3139624, -75.4551715 (N 46° 18´ 50.26¨ / W 75° 27´ 18.62¨). On the territory, the hunting sectors are reached by vehicle without difficulty. Your own ATV is allowed, but only to travel between your cabin and your hunting sector: free circulation on the territory is prohibited.
