About

Domaine du Lac St-Pierre is an outfitter, campground and rental centre on the shores of Lac Saint-Pierre, in Louiseville in the Mauricie region — at the heart of the Lac Saint-Pierre UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, one of Quebec's most important bird-migration corridors. The Domaine combines guided walleye (and sturgeon) fishing, winter ice fishing from a heated hut, blind duck hunting in the marshes and deer hunting, alongside a wealth of water activities: a 2-hour guided safari through 'The Bayous of the North', motorboat rental, canoe, kayak, pedal boat and paddle board. For lodging, the Domaine offers several styles for every taste: glamping in furnished tents (king bed, kitchen, waterfront deck), the all-in-one Coolbox mini-chalet, fully-equipped chalets and a loft, and serviced or unserviced campsites. On site, the Le Bayou terrace-bar welcomes visitors at the water's edge from June to October, with a bar and a street-food truck. Open 7 days a week.
