Arctic Adventures is an Inuit-owned fishing outfitter that has been welcoming anglers to Quebec's Far North since 1969. Beyond the tree line, north of the 58th parallel, it runs two fly-in fishing camps in the Ungava Bay region of Nunavik, where arctic char, sea-run brook trout and lake trout thrive in crystal-clear waters. You fish with a fly rod or light spinning gear alongside Inuit guides, with a maximum of eight anglers at a time in each camp for genuinely personal service. Lodging is in heated cabins with bedding and sleeping bags, showers, flush toilets, a generator and satellite telephone communications; the camp cook prepares the meals. Between outings, the arctic landscape offers the chance to watch caribou, muskox, arctic fox, wolves, seals and belugas, and to share the culture, history and traditions of your Inuit hosts. The camps are open from July to mid-September.
