Aventure Nature Okane

Pourvoirie Aventure Nature Okane is a 40 km² exclusive-rights territory in the Mauricie region, in zone 26, giving access to more than 10 lakes — Boucher, Bordeleau, Dupont, Okane, Jules, Amédée, Sten, Monseigneur, Boucanier and Quesnel — all reachable by vehicle and a short distance from the chalets. You fish brook trout, wild or stocked, from around mid-May to the end of October, with a quota of 10 trout per adult. The territory splits into two hunting sectors of 20 km² each, Boucher and Okane, both fitted with tree stands: moose from mid-September to mid-October (one moose per party, maximum five hunters), black bear in spring (one party at a time) and small game in September and October — partridge, spruce grouse, woodcock and hare. The chalets, renovated or newly built, all run on solar power and sit on beautiful sand beaches; kayaks, pedal boats, paddle boards, water toys, swings and a slide are free for families, and hiking trails run through the Boucher sector. Everything is sold on the European plan, with lodging, boat and fishing rights included. New for 2026: a new secluded chalet in the Boucher sector sleeping 12 or more with two bathrooms, a new road giving access to Lac Quesnel, new docks and new trails. A family business welcoming visitors since the fall of 2010.
