About

Pourvoirie Aventure Nature Okane is an exclusive-rights outfitter spanning 40 km² in the heart of the Mauricie region, near La Tuque. The territory gives access to more than 10 lakes — Boucher, Bordeleau, Dupont, Okane, Jules, Amédée, Sten, Monseigneur, Boucanier and Quesnel — all reachable by vehicle a short distance from the cabins, for fishing indigenous or stocked brook trout (quota of 10 trout per adult). The cabins, several of them brand-new and secluded, run on solar power and sit on beautiful sand beaches, on a European plan. The outfitter also offers moose hunting (zone 26, two exclusive 20 km² sectors with tree stands), small-game hunting (partridge, spruce grouse, hare, woodcock) and, in spring, black bear. For families, the Boucher sector offers kayaks, pedal boats, paddleboards, water games, swings, a slide and hiking trails. A young business with personalized service, run by Denis and Nathalie since the fall of 2010.
