About

Deep in the forests north of La Tuque, in La Croche, Relais 22 Milles is a year-round roadside stop and lodging hub at the junction of the Outaouais, Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean and Haute-Mauricie regions. Founded more than 60 years ago as a lumberjacks' camp — its name recalls the 22 miles (about 35 km) that once separated it from Windigo station — the Relais is today a true outdoor hub. It offers 19 single- or double-occupancy rooms, a restaurant (à la carte and table d'hôte), a reception and meeting hall, a convenience store, a grocery and a gas station. Anchored on the Trans-Québec 83 snowmobile trail — the only fuel stop between Saguenay and La Tuque — it opens onto more than 340 km of federated trails and a multitude of unmarked trails for snowmobiling and quad riding. The Relais also offers all-inclusive bear and small-game hunting packages (meals, nights and baited sites), guided off-trail snowmobile outings and lodging packages with meals.

Road access near km 61 of Route 10, in La Croche (north of La Tuque), Haute-Mauricie. The Relais sits at the junction of the Outaouais, Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean and Haute-Mauricie regions, on the Trans-Québec 83 snowmobile trail (Perce-Neige trails), where it is the only fuel stop between Saguenay and La Tuque. More than 340 km of federated snowmobile and quad trails radiate from the Relais. Secure, plowed 24-hour parking.
