Pourvoirie Tisonagan

About
In the heart of the Pontiac, in Quebec's Outaouais region, Pourvoirie Tisonagan (formerly Pourvoirie du Lac de l'Indienne) is an exclusive-rights territory nestled around Lac Shingwôk — a body of water more than 3.5 km² in size, reaching depths of 275 feet in places, recognized by the Ministry of Natural Resources as an exceptional site for grey-trout spawning. Anglers fish for grey/lake trout (no size limit on exclusive-rights territory) and brook trout, by line in summer and through the ice in winter, with several small lakes nearby (Mud, Black, Norman). On the hunting side: white-tailed deer over year-round baited blinds (opening two weeks before Quebec's regular season), black bear in spring and fall over baited sites visited daily in Zone 10, and small game (partridge). The outfitter also offers a guided trapping experience across 45 km² of private trap lines, toured by snowmobile or side-by-side. Lodging comprises 8 fully equipped cabins: 7 near the lodge, heated and lit by electricity, and a large camp (Outpost / American Camp) 3 kilometres away, reachable by boat only and running on propane. All are equipped (pot, dishes, utensils, coffee maker, microwave, bedding). Whether it's for fishing, hunting, or simply relaxing, Pourvoirie Tisonagan is the perfect place.
