About

Set on Baie Philomène, a wind-sheltered bay of the Baskatong reservoir near the walleye spawning grounds, Pourvoirie Tawanipi offers direct access to the vast Baskatong and its fish-filled waters. Anglers pursue yellow and sauger walleye, yellow perch, northern pike, whitefish, landlocked salmon and sturgeon. The outfitter rents fully-equipped cabins for 2 to 10 people, trailers, and runs a quiet, shaded campground (wilderness, tent and 2- or 3-service sites). A full marina rents boats, motors, a pontoon, canoes and kayaks. On the hunting side, the territory sits in Zone 11 Est (non-exclusive land): depending on the open season, small-game hunting and archery white-tailed deer hunting are offered. Outdoor lovers also enjoy the ATV (trail 33) and snowmobile (trail 322) trails reachable from the outfitter, along with fine canoe outings on the bay. Pets are welcome under certain conditions.
