Pourvoirie Panomaguy is a Côte-Nord hideaway devoted to fishing for native brook trout (brook char). Many pristine lakes — reachable by car, ATV, or on foot — teem with salmon-fleshed trout; the quota is 20 trout per licence and the average size is 10 to 12 inches. Cold water and altitude ensure exceptional fishing all season long, which runs from June 1 to mid-September. Lodging is European-plan in comfortable, fully equipped 4-star cabins (up to 6 people), all set on the shores of Lake Okaopéo and spaced far enough apart to ensure privacy and quiet. Every package includes the cabin, boat, motor, and gas. You can also combine a fishing stay with a visit to the nearby Daniel-Johnson dam (Manic-5).

Access : By road

Road access in the Côte-Nord backcountry (per the 'Contact us' page). Route 138 to Baie-Comeau, then Route 389 toward Manic 5 to km 179 (paved), and finally 11 km on a maintained forest road to the outfitter. The cabins sit on the shores of Lake Okaopéo; several lakes are reachable by car, ATV, or on foot.
