About

Pourvoirie Le Chenail du Nord sits on a vast wilderness territory of more than 70 km² dotted with over 40 lakes, in the heart of the Côte-Nord boreal forest, in the Manicouagan region (zone 18), north of Forestville. It is a true year-round outdoor paradise. Guests hunt moose, black bear and small game on an exclusive territory, and enjoy excellent indigenous brook trout fishing as well as winter ice fishing. The outfitter also offers guided quad (ATV) expeditions in summer and off-trail snowmobile expeditions in winter. Lodging is in comfortable chalets rated up to four stars, set on the shore of Lac Travers and able to host groups of 2 to 10 people; all are equipped with wifi, a large refrigerator, a full bathroom with shower and hot water, automatic propane heating and a complete set of dishes. Under its current owners since 1999, the outfitter has undergone extensive renovations.
