About

Pourvoirie Normandin is a small fishing camp set on the shore of Lac Pécaudy, in Rivière-Mouchalagane, within the Caniapiscau RCM — the deep backcountry of Québec's Côte-Nord, far beyond the last village roads. Lodging comes down to a single lodge: those who make the trip have the lake and the surrounding waters to themselves, with no neighbours and no crowds. Guests come for the brook trout of northern Québec's lakes, in a stretch of country where the boreal forest gradually gives way to taiga. The season is short and summery, from 1 June to 30 September.
