About

Pourvoirie Nordic is a native brook trout fishing outfitter reachable only by floatplane, north of Lac-Saint-Jean in zone 29 (Quebec's Moyen-Nord, Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region). The territory has about 22 lakes in operation where fish of ½ to 2 pounds are the norm, with trophies of 3 to 5 pounds possible. Lodging is in one of three comfortable cabins (wood stove, propane refrigerator, USB outlets, Wi-Fi, two bedrooms with 4 double beds, bathroom with shower) or at the central inn with a dining room and lounge. Solar energy, propane, and wood heat; eco-responsible management of the territory. The outfitter takes in only around 100 guests a year. Access is by floatplane from the lac Sébastien hydrobase (Air La Tuque, St-David-de-Falardeau), a flight of about 75 minutes over the boreal forest, the Betsiamites River, and the Pipmuacan Reservoir.

Detailed rates
Stay 3.5 days (4 nights), per person$1,850
Good to know

$1,850 'per stay/person (+taxes)', read from the price card on the homepage (re-verified 2026-06-26 via textContent — the price renders in split DOM nodes, invisible to the innerText sweep). Rate confirmed in the booking engine (HBook/WordPress on /calendrier) for in-season 2026 dates (July 13-17 and July 31-Aug 3): 'Prix de l'hébergement' $1,850.00 + GST (5%) $92.50 + QST (9.97%) $184.45 = $2,126.95 tax-incl., identical flat package rate for both windows. Calibration note: the homepage labels the rate 'per stay/person' while the engine counts it 'per accommodation' (stay labelled '4 nights'); basis kept 'par-personne' per the operator's published copy. 3.5-day stay: Monday 1pm to Friday 9:30am, or Friday 8am to Monday 1pm. All-inclusive with floatplane transport from the lac Sébastien hydrobase (Air La Tuque, St-David-de-Falardeau) — ~75-min flight. Max floatplane load: 135 kg (300 lb) per person, baggage included. Native brook trout fishing on about twenty lakes (zone 29); ½ to 2 lb specimens are the norm, 3-5 lb trophies possible. Limit on departure: 20 fish max. The outfitter hosts only about 100 clients per year. Self-guided (DIY).

Prices are provided by the outfitter — check availability when booking.
