Pourvoirie Moko

Pourvoirie MoKo sits on Lac Byrd, in the heart of the La Vérendrye wildlife reserve. Walleye, northern pike and lake trout are fished here from May through September, and moose and small game are hunted in September and October. Five 4-star log chalets and a loft overlooking the lake each sleep 4 to 10 adults: about 600 sq ft (1,000 sq ft for the Lesage chalet), full kitchen, shower and toilet, hot and running water (non-potable), electricity, wood stove, BBQ and WiFi. A common pavilion is offered free of charge to groups of 10 or more, and the entire outfitter can be rented out for a family or corporate gathering. On site: 16-foot boat and 20-foot pontoon rentals, a guide service on request, and all-inclusive fishing packages that come with bait, gas, ice and fish freezing. The site is reachable by car on a well-maintained forest road.
