Pourvoirie Humanité
About
Set in Baie-Sainte-Catherine, in the heart of Charlevoix, Pourvoirie Humanité is a nature destination known for the quality of its native brook trout fishing and for its wide range of outdoor activities, for adults and families alike. The 9 km² exclusive territory holds 9 lakes and 22 km of trails, in a magnificent forest where the calm of the site fosters the fullest possible contact with nature. Five lakes teem with wild trout, often of surprising weight; five of the nine lakes are stocked regularly with 9-to-13-inch trout, and the average catch reaches 2.5 lbs. Lac Florent, stocked exclusively with big trout, is offered as a guided package. In the fall, fishing continues on lakes Augustin, Fontaine, Léon, Maurice, Lassus and Petit Lassus. Beyond fishing, the outfitter offers a string of adventures: kayak outings, paddleboard, canoe trips, marked trails and lookout points, cliff jumping from a rocky cape, and a whale-watching excursion on the St. Lawrence River. In the fall, an exclusive 5 km² sector around 3 lakes hosts moose hunting. Lodging is in 7 comfortable waterfront cabins (for 2 to 12 people), each with a private dock, boats, BBQ and outdoor fire pit. The Whales & Brook Trout package remains the top family choice, while non-resident visitors opt for the Trip to Canada package.
