About

In the heart of Charlevoix, in the Québec tourist region, Pourvoirie du Lac-Moreau holds an exclusive territory of 81 km² where 32 lakes stretch between high mountain summits, threaded with winding rivers, steep cliffs and a towering waterfall. Moose, beaver and black bear inhabit this boreal forest, in a migration corridor linking two large national parks at the heart of the Charlevoix World Biosphere Reserve (UNESCO). The Auberge du Ravage, a round-log lodge of Scandinavian comfort with 20 rooms (a 12-room inn plus two group pavilions), brings together a Scandinavian spa, stone fireplaces, a Finnish sauna and a gourmet table inspired by the boreal forest. Seven chalets on private lakes and luxury camps (glamping) round out the lodging. In summer, brook-trout fishing is enjoyed on preserved natural lakes (electric motors only), alongside hiking, boating outings and wildlife watching; in autumn, moose hunting on exclusive territories; in winter, snowmobiling (up to 6 m of snowfall, more than 100 km of groomed trails connected to the provincial network), quad riding, snowshoeing and dog-sledding.
