In the heart of Charlevoix, Pourvoirie Baie-Sainte-Catherine is a warm, small outfitter that blends comfort and simplicity across a 4.5 km² territory. You fish for splake and brook trout on five exclusive-rights lakes — Lac Malbaie (at the foot of the cabins), Lac des Irlandais, Lac de la Chicane, Lac Saint-Firmin and little Lac Antoine — plus a freshwater pond and a river; the lakes are restocked regularly and only electric motors are allowed, keeping the site calm and peaceful. The catches impress: splake over 5 pounds and brook trout over 3.5 pounds have been landed here. For hunting, the exclusive territory (zone 27-Est) is rented to a single party for moose, with towers, enclosed blinds and maintained salt licks; bear hunting, offered since 2021, takes place over baited sites, with combined hunt-and-trout-fishing packages. For families, the vacation packages add kayaking, paddleboarding, pedal boats, swimming, cycling and hiking, plus free unlimited access to the rivière aux Canards waterfalls. Lodging is six fully equipped waterfront cabins, each with a private dock, outdoor fire pit and parking, powered by solar energy (non-potable water, no pets).

Road access in Charlevoix, a few kilometres off the highway via well-maintained roads (zone 27-Est). Published GPS coordinates: 48.019295 N, -69.787760 W. A territory map is available on the site. On site the lakes are easily reached: Lac Malbaie is at the foot of the cabins, Lac des Irlandais and Lac de la Chicane are under 5 minutes by car, and Lac Antoine and Lac Saint-Firmin are about a 10-minute walk along cleared trails.
