Pourvoirie Foresto

Pourvoirie Foresto, in Montmagny in the Chaudière-Appalaches region, is a hunting and fishing destination open by reservation only. The fishing features stocked brook (speckled) trout, in summer and through the ice in winter, with lake access, boats and a quota of 10 trout. For hunting, the territory offers white-tailed deer, moose and black bear as big game, plus small game (ruffed grouse, spruce grouse and hare). Lodging is in cabins sleeping up to 14 people (from the 9-person Chalet 4 to the 14-person Chalet 7A), a ready-to-camp cabin, a campground with a sanitary block, and an on-site tipi for day visitors. The facilities run on solar power and propane, with a wood stove, BBQ, full bathroom and campfire sites. Fishing equipment (motor, battery) is also available for rent.
