Pourvoirie du Domaine Vanier is an exclusive-rights outfitter tucked in the heart of the Hautes-Laurentides, on a 131 km² territory dotted with more than 40 bodies of water. Its 'one cabin, one lake' formula gives every party the privacy of being alone on its own lake. Fishing varies by lake: walleye and pike (Lake Ménéval, Lake Darquise), brook trout and lake trout on many other waters. On the hunting side, moose is king: each hunting party gets its own sector, patrolled by the outfitter, with baited blinds. The territory is just as suited to the outdoors — swimming, canoeing, kayaking, pedal-boating, hiking, wildlife observation and wild-berry picking — with equipment rental on site. Lodging includes 16 rustic cabins and 2 luxury cabins: the rustic ones cover the essentials (bedrooms, shower, hot water, toilet), while the luxury cabins add cable TV, phone, Internet, washer-dryer and a double tub, for at-home comfort in the wild.
