Pourvoirie Colvert sits in the Hautes-Laurentides, on the north branch of the Gatineau River at the Baskatong Reservoir. It is a true paradise for anglers, hunters and outdoor lovers seeking quiet, with its vast sandy beaches and stunning sunsets. Fishing is on the majestic Baskatong Reservoir: yellow and black walleye, northern pike, yellow perch, whitefish, sturgeon and burbot. Hunting targets partridge, hare, deer, moose (bow or crossbow only) and several varieties of duck. You can also enjoy wildlife watching, ice fishing, ATV riding, canoeing, kayaking and hiking. Lodging is in a cabin for 8 (two bedrooms with bunked double beds, a sofa bed, a full bathroom, a fridge and a propane stove, solar electricity, a wood fireplace) or on one of the 35 seasonal campsites. On site: Baskatong Reservoir fishing rights, a boat launch and ice-fishing shack rental. Open year-round.
