About

Pourvoirie de l'Ours Brun sits on an exclusive territory in the Monts-Valin sector (Saguenay), accessible by car. It offers native trout (brook trout) fishing on more than 20 lakes in an enchanting setting (the operator also cites a 38 km² territory and around thirty lakes). A distinctive feature: when you rent a chalet, you have your lake to yourself (one lake per day) for complete tranquillity, with a quota of 20 trout per fishing licence. Lodging is in six fully equipped rustic wooden chalets (La tempête, La forêt/Camp #2, L'Ourson, La moucheté, Le huard, La dérive), with a 14-foot or larger boat, gas motor, gasoline, propane, solar system, freezer, BBQ and shower; bedding not included. Guide service and Wi-Fi available on request. The luckiest guests can enjoy the seasonal northern lights.
