About
Pourvoirie Club Rossignol holds the exclusive hunting and fishing rights to its territory in the heart of the Hautes-Laurentides, about 30 km north of Ste-Véronique (Rivière-Rouge) and l'Ascension, bordered by the ZEC Maison-de-Pierre and the Kiamika regional park (hunting zone 15 Ouest). Fishing is exclusively for brook trout (speckled trout) across 14 lakes, of which 5 hold a 100% native, naturally reproducing population and 2 are dedicated to children. Big-game hunting includes moose (7- or 9-day packages, exclusivity on one of 5 sectors), white-tailed deer (5 days, choice of 4 sectors) and guided black bear over baited sites, plus small game and migratory birds. In summer, family vacation packages give access to Baie Wilson beach, the playgrounds, the hiking trail and many recreational craft (kayaks, pedal boats, canoes, paddleboards); hiking and cani-rando are offered free of charge. Lodging is in fully renovated log cabins, from the standard cabin to the spacious premium Chalet des Loups, to the isolated, solar-powered Chalet Hiya. Acquired in 2018 by Pierre Lévesque, the outfitter is committed to the ecological preservation of its territory.
