About

Set on the shore of the Cabonga Reservoir, in the heart of the La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve, Pourvoirie Cabonga has earned an undisputed reputation for both the quantity and the quality of its fish: good-sized walleye, northern pike and lake trout are the everyday catch here. The territory offers 21 clean, fully equipped cabins sleeping 2 to 12 people, plus a residence for up to 24 — an ideal choice for family or group stays (electric/oil/propane heat, propane stove, fridge, indoor shower and toilet, hot water, gas BBQ and outdoor campfire area). On site: 14-foot fiberglass boats with 20 HP 4-stroke motors, a boat launch ramp, docks that can accommodate any craft (floatplanes welcome), a fuel dock, a fish-cleaning shed and a service counter (bait, fishing tackle, bathymetric map, ice). Electricity is supplied 24/7 by generator. European plan (self-catered): you bring your own food and fishing gear. Located 7 km from Route 117, the outfitter stands out for its easy access and its warm, personalized service. Pets accepted (fees apply).
