About
Blue Walleye Outpost is a remote outfitter tucked deep in the boreal forest of northern Quebec, on Lac Achepabanca near Senneterre. The territory is known for its trophy walleye and northern pike fishing, on lakes that stretch over 15 miles of shoreline, hidden bays and deep waters. For hunting, it offers spring black bear (semi-guided, with bait sites refreshed daily) and fall moose (a territory rental spanning over 30 km of prime habitat). 'Cast & Blast' packages combine small-game hunting (ruffed grouse and spruce grouse) with fishing. Lodging is in fully equipped housekeeping cabins: flushing toilets, running water, propane fridges and cook stoves, solar power and satellite internet. Operating season May to October. Access is by car to the parking area, then a roughly 1-mile boat ride across the lake to camp.

Access : By road · By boat
Car access to Senneterre, then a logging road to the parking area and a roughly 1-mile boat ride across the lake to camp. From Senneterre: from the Ultramar gas station, take 10th Avenue and Rue du Parc, then Route 806 to Route 808; follow 808 (km markers 40, 22, 35, 63) to the 'Blue Walleye Outpost' signs leading to the parking area. Meeting point at the dock; the camp is visible about 1 mile across the lake. Radio contact on Channel 7. Suggested stop at the Ultramar station in Senneterre to fuel up and buy hunting and fishing licences.
