Le Domaine Orégnac

Le Domaine Orégnac is a family-run outfitter on the Côte-Nord specializing in hunting, fishing and cabin getaways, with on-site lodging. With more than 30 years of history, the business was taken over four years ago by new management committed to the responsible use of the resource. Moose hunting is the flagship offering, on zones of roughly 30 km² reserved for groups of up to four hunters, with success comparable to the Quebec average; the season starts the Saturday after September 15, in six-night stays. It also offers bear hunting from baited stands (with a guide), small-game hunting in late October, and summer fishing. Five cabins are available — Chalet no 1, no 2, no 3, Chalet du plongeur and Chalet de la rivière — on the European plan, fully equipped to feel like home.
