About

Established in 1899, the Saint John Salmon Club is a full-service, all-inclusive fishing lodge built on the shores of the Saint John River, one of the finest salmon rivers on Québec's Gaspé Peninsula, about thirty-five minutes from the town of Gaspé. Prized for its scenic beauty, exceptionally clear water and good summer runs of Atlantic salmon, the river makes the Club a sought-after destination for fly anglers. The Club enjoys exclusive use of approximately 8 km of water containing 12 salmon pools (all of Sector 3 and part of Sector 4), divided into 4 fishing beats fished in daily rotation, one per angler – including an upriver descent in a 24-foot canoe. The Club welcomes only small groups of four anglers at a time, each in a private room with a private bathroom and a wood-burning stove. Stays, in half-week or full-week formats, include accommodation, all meals (refined cooking that showcases fresh local seafood), fishing, professional guide service and transportation on site. Reachable by road and by air (Gaspé airport, met by staff).
