L'Aventure du Pro

Pourvoirie L'Aventure du Pro is one of Quebec's largest exclusive-rights outfitters — 309 km² — and one of its wildest, reachable only by seaplane, which keeps the territory fully preserved. You stay alone on the shore of your own lake or island, a single cabin per body of water for absolute tranquility. The 18 rustic yet comfortable cabins are spread across the whole territory on the banks of private lakes. The 80 lakes, little or never fished, yield record catches of walleye, pike, lake trout and speckled trout; the lodge encourages catch and release. Careful management delivers an exceptional success rate for bear hunting (~90%) and moose hunting (over 75%), practiced across just 17 sectors. Many forest trails are used for hiking and lead to the small headwater lakes; depending on the season you can pick wild berries (raspberries, blueberries), gather mushrooms, and watch wildlife. Founded in 1957 by the Melançon family, the outfitter has kept all its authenticity; some visitors have been returning for more than 40 years.
