About

In the heart of the Charlevoix mountains, Club des Trois Castors spreads across 32 km² of wild territory and eight lakes stocked with quality brook trout (9 to 18 inches), one of them reserved for big trout. Perched at 2,300 ft elevation, the outfitter benefits from spring-fed lakes that keep the fish active and stretch the fishing season longer. For hunting, the exclusive territory holds moose and bear, plus partridge, hare and duck. Lodging is in ten lakeside cabins, four-star rated by the Association des pourvoiries du Québec, sleeping 2 to 16 people, furnished and fitted with a full kitchen, a bathroom with a hot-water shower and solar lighting. Stable boats are provided at no charge (gas motors are not allowed on the lakes; electric motor rental available). On site: hiking trails, cycling routes, blueberry and raspberry picking, a children's playground and a new observatory. Founded in 1965 by brothers Fernand and Samuel Lapointe, the outfitter is known for its simple, warm welcome.
