Club des Trois Castors

About
Founded in 1965 by brothers Fernand and Samuel Lapointe, Club des Trois Castors is a Charlevoix outfitter tucked into the mountains, less than twenty kilometres from Clermont. Sitting at 2,300 feet of elevation, it opens eight lakes to you, all fed by underground springs — cooler water that keeps the fish active and stretches the season — and every one of them stocked with brook trout from 9 to 18 inches, including one lake reserved exclusively for big trout. On the hunting side, 32 km of territory, exclusive for moose, also holds bear, partridge, hare and duck, with a guiding service available. Ten four-star-rated cabins line the lakes and sleep 2 to 16 people: bedrooms, a bathroom with a hot-water shower, stove, fridge, solar lighting and everything you need to cook. Boats are provided at no extra charge (gas motors are not allowed on the lakes, but electric motors can be rented), licences, tackle and worms are sold on site, and an enclosed shelter is set up for cleaning your catch. Between outings: hiking trails, cycling roads, a new lookout, a children's playground and blueberry and raspberry picking.

No published price. The /chasse.html page explicitly advertises bear-hunt packages ('Our bear and moose hunting packages include accommodation and hunting rights'), but the RATES section shows only one figure, the moose one ($4,900.00 per moose). Full sweep of the FR and EN pages on 2026-08-09: no bear rate in text, image, PDF or Word doc, and the site has no booking engine. Price on request from the outfitter.

No published price. The homepage states that the 32 km of territory can be hunted 'for moose, bear, partridge, hare or duck' with a high success rate, but /chasse.html details packages only for moose and bear and shows a single rate ($4,900.00 per moose). Full sweep of the FR and EN pages on 2026-08-09: no small-game rate anywhere. Species taken from the operator's own wording: partridge/grouse and hare (small game), duck (migratory bird).
