About

Camp Grassy Narrows is an outfitter set on the shores of Lac des Quinze in Moffet, Abitibi-Témiscamingue, tucked beneath the birches and pines. The territory opens onto fishing for northern pike, smallmouth bass and walleye: Lac Simard is minutes from the camp and can be fished right off the dock, several lakes are reachable from the camp, and island shore lunches are part of the trip. For hunting, moose can be taken by bow from the 3rd week of September and by rifle the 2nd week of October (two persons to a moose, outpost camps or the main camp); black bear is hunted in spring over baited sites maintained daily, with experienced guides and an advertised 90% success rate; and small game and waterfowl — partridge, grouse, ducks and Canada geese — open from the 3rd week of September. Lodging is in 11 well-equipped cabins, with a camping area. The camp offers full services: restaurant and bar, dépanneur, boat rental, an on-site gas pump, a quad barge, bait and ice, BBQ and fire-pit areas, laundry and public washrooms. Fishing is self-guided and hunting is guided.
