Camp des 3 Saisons

3 Seasons Camp has been welcoming anglers and hunters for more than 60 years on Lake Kipawa, in the heart of Témiscamingue. The lake unfolds in hundreds of bays, inlets and channels of clear water — close to a thousand miles of shoreline — deep and sheltered, where wind is rarely a problem and you seldom cross another boat. Seven four-star cottages sleeping 2 to 12 people offer 24-hour solar electricity, a shower and hot water, a fully equipped kitchen, propane heat and cooking stove, a screened porch and a private dock; outside there is a fire pit, a propane barbecue and a screened fish-cleaning hut with running water. European-plan fishing packages of 3, 5 or 6 days include the cottage, a 16-foot fiberglass boat with a 15 HP motor, gas, bait, ice, freezer, parking, the shuttle between the parking lot and camp, a map of the lake, canoe and paddle boat — and every week opens with a guided tour of the fishing territory to show you the best spots for the season. You fish walleye (camp record 16 lb), lake trout (32 lb), northern pike (36 lb) and smallmouth bass (8.5 lb), with out-of-the-way pike lakes reachable on foot or by boat. In the fall, moose hunting takes place in zone 13, from stands, with an average kill rate of 50 to 60%. Hiking, canoeing, pedal boating and swimming round out the stay. The Petrik family, who have been coming to Lake Kipawa for more than 40 years, took over the camp in 2020 and carry on the same tradition of hospitality.
