About

Pourvoirie Domaine des Huards is a family-vacation destination on the shores of Réservoir Baskatong, whose shoreline runs about 2,900 km and is dotted with islands and beaches. It offers 14 waterfront cabins and 3 trailers (sleeping 4 to 16), each with its own dock, plus more than 300 camping sites — 2- and 3-service sites (water, electricity, sewer), wild tent camping and seasonal sites, open from Victoria Day to Thanksgiving. There's a full slate of on-site family activities: beach and swimming, water games and slides, a playground, beach volleyball, a 9-hole mini-putt, a kids' ATV trail, a petting farm and horseshoes, plus the Williamson museum boat, a historic emblem of log driving on the Baskatong. For outdoor lovers, the reservoir offers fishing (walleye, pike, sturgeon, yellow perch, whitefish, landlocked salmon) and the managed forests offer hunting for abundant white-tailed deer and small game (hare, duck). On site: a convenience store open 7 days, a snack bar with terrace, a sports bar, a marina with boat rentals, a boat-launch service, gas, washrooms, laundry, Wi-Fi at the front desk, winter storage and firewood.
