Located in northwestern Quebec, in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region, Mike's Driftwood Outfitters sits at the heart of the best hunting grounds, on lake and river Dasserat (3rd Lake – Kanasuta), in zone 13. The outfitter comprises a main lodge and 7 private, comfortable cottages accommodating up to 50 guests, for groups of 2 to 8 people; a solar energy system powers the facilities. It offers spring black bear hunting (baited sites, about 85 active sites), moose hunting (guided or self-guided, limited tags), small-game hunting (ruffed grouse and hare), winter wolf hunting, and fishing for walleye, pike, smallmouth bass and perch across a network of lakes and rivers spanning more than 100 km. Zone 13 is advertised as the #1 zone for bear kills and #2 for moose over recent years. European-plan lodging; sauna, gazebos with gas barbecues, canoes, pedal boat and kayak, a fish-cleaning station and a campfire area on site. Owners: Mike and Johanne.
