Pourvoirie Lac du Cerf

On the shore of Lac du Cerf in the Laurentians, Pourvoirie Lac du Cerf rents twelve fully equipped holiday chalets, from a snug nest for two to a large family chalet that sleeps eleven. Each one has its own character: Le Vieux-Poète, whose walls are covered in guests' handwriting dating back to the 1970s; Le Rustique, squared-log built around 1937 and the most booked on the property; Le Feu St-Elme with its wood cookstove; Le Western with its saloon-style poker corner. Eleven chalets sit on the property itself, right on the water, with docks, a beach and campfire areas; the twelfth, Le Joyeux Naufragé, is an off-site chalet running entirely on propane and solar power. The lake is the heart of the stay: fishing (lake trout, bass and the other species of the region), boats with or without a motor, a fishing boat and a pontoon for rent, kayaking and paddle boarding, a beach, walking trails and a quad trail. Stays are self-catered — you cook in the chalet and bring your own bedding — and the Le Familial chalet has been adapted with an outside ramp and a wheelchair-accessible bedroom.
