A family-owned outfitter founded in 2007 near Malartic, in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Tippmann Outfitters hunts black bear and moose across more than 125,000 acres, plus 19,000 acres of fresh-water fishing on a water chain over 80 miles long. Black bear is the house specialty: black powder and all forms of archery are welcome, multiple fresh stands are set for every hunter, and a trained German Shepherd recovers your bear the same night it is down. Bear season runs from May 15 to June 30. For moose, three formats are offered at the peak of the fall rut: road hunts, an outpost camp with stands and moose tag included, or a fully guided hunt. Fishing targets sturgeon, walleye and northern pike across multiple lakes, with guides, boats and motors for rent and bait on site. The main lodge has eight double-occupancy rooms, each with electricity, full bath, kitchenette and refrigerator, plus 2,000 sq.ft. of common areas, washer and dryer, a grocery store, fish freezer, cold storage, gas and ice. Outpost camps with exclusive hunting rights can be rented for moose hunting and fishing, on the European or American plan, and camp sites welcome tents and trailers. Beyond hunting, the territory opens onto 2,735 km of ATV trails open year round and 5,954 km of snowmobile trails from mid-December to mid-March, with ice fishing available on the snowmobiling package.

Road access. The 'Contact Us' page places the camp about 15 miles (24 km) south of Malartic and notes that the area is very remote but the road is paved the entire way to camp.
