Pourvoirie Fer à Cheval spreads across a 238 km² exclusive territory in the heart of the Hautes-Laurentides (zone 14), with 35 lakes and many rivers, including the Bazin River, which crosses the territory for more than 16 km. Known for its moose hunting (remarkable success rates, 1 adult moose per group of 4) and its bear hunting over baited sites with a guarantee to see a bear, it also offers small-game hunting (ruffed grouse, spruce grouse) and varied fishing: 20 brook-trout lakes, 12 walleye-and-pike lakes, plus lake trout. The four-star auberge, open year-round on the shore of Lac Nasigon, houses a resto-bar and a dining room renowned for its cuisine, along with condos and luxury VIP suites; lodging ranges from fully equipped cabins to propane-heated forest cabins and rustic camps. Snowmobiling and quad riding round out the four-season offering. Professional guides accompany hunting and fishing stays.
