Pourvoirie Destination le Mirage

Operating since 1999, Pourvoirie Destination Le Mirage is a non-exclusive-rights outfitter based in Victoriaville, in Quebec's Centre-du-Québec region (Bois-Francs). It works private territories spread across zones 7 south, 7 north, 6 north and 4, where mountainous terrain, managed dense woodlots, crop fields and waterbodies meet. Its specialty is plains big- and small-game hunting: white-tailed deer (advertised average success rate of over 80% per hunter), combined deer-and-moose packages, spring wild turkey, and migratory birds (greater snow goose, Canada goose and ducks) in the Victoriaville, Île d'Orléans and Beaupré sectors. For fishing, the outfitter offers guided Atlantic salmon and striped bass fishing on the Bonaventure River and Baie-des-Chaleurs in Gaspésie (mid-June to mid-September), as well as lake fishing on Memphremagog (lake trout, brown trout, rainbow trout, landlocked salmon and bass). Lodging is arranged through partner suppliers — chalets, country inns, hotel or motel — on the American plan (with meals) or European plan (without meals) depending on the package.
