Le Domaine Comporté is a 30 km² fishing and hunting outfitter nestled in the mixed forests of Charlevoix. Fishing takes place on 2 lakes (Morin and Comporté) reachable by car, home to native brook trout (omble de fontaine), the only species in the lakes; electric motors only. The moose-hunting territory, exclusive to the Domaine, is divided into 2 sectors (zones 1 & 2) equipped with watchtowers (blinds) and salt licks; black bear and small-game hunting are also offered. Lodging is in fully equipped waterfront cabins, each with a dock, boat and private outdoor fire pit, sleeping 2 to 9 people (European plan, self-sufficient). Road access in Charlevoix (Contact page). From Montreal and Quebec City, take Route 138 to La Malbaie, then turn left onto the Malbaie bridge toward chemin de la Vallée and drive 1 km.
