On the sandy shores of the Baskatong Reservoir in the Outaouais, Camping Union Baskatong – Pourvoirie Chez Rainville has welcomed anglers, campers and vacationers for over 50 years. The number-one activity is walleye fishing, abundant and top-quality, backed by the largest fleet of rental boats on the Baskatong. Accommodations include 21 fully equipped chalets (1 to 4 bedrooms, living room, kitchenette, bathroom with shower, some renovated or air-conditioned), 2 trailers, a refuge and a motel, plus 229 camping sites with the widest selection of transient lots offering lake views. On site: full marina services, a beach with a giant inflatable, a children's park, a covered marquee, and rentals of motorboats, pontoons, canoes, kayaks and paddleboards. About 2h30 from Gatineau/Ottawa, 3h30 from Montreal and 3h00 from Val-d'Or. Boat access available to the Mercier dam; a federated ATV trail runs less than 500 m away.
