Auberge Gatineau au Baskatong

Set on the north arm of the Baskatong Reservoir, at the mouth of the Gatineau River, Auberge de la Gatineau has been welcoming anglers, hunters and families since 1950. The site brings together 14 clean, comfortable chalets sleeping groups of 2 to 12 — full kitchen, hot water, bathroom with shower and solar electricity — along with 50 serviced campsites, each with sewer and drinking water. On the fishing side, packages include the boat, motor and fishing rights for trout, walleye and pike. On the hunting side, the lodge offers moose packages on an exclusive 10 km² territory per party, black bear paired with fishing, and small game (partridge and hare). On site: a huge sand beach, a boat launch, a dining room, a bar, a billiards room, a convenience store and a gas pump, plus rentals of boats, motors, canoes, kayaks and sailboards. Open from May 15 to October 31 each year.
