Auberge Gatineau au Baskatong is a family-run outfitter operating since 1950, set on the north arm of the Baskatong reservoir at the mouth of the Gatineau River, in the Outaouais region. The site offers 14 fully equipped rustic cabins (full kitchen, hot water, bathroom with shower, solar electricity) sleeping groups of 2 to 12, plus 50 serviced seasonal campsites on southwest-facing lots of at least 7,500 sq ft. Activities include fishing for trout (brook trout), walleye and pike, moose hunting on exclusive 10 km² territories, black-bear hunting and small-game hunting (partridge and hare). A multi-kilometre beach, swimming, rentals of boats, motors, canoes and kayaks, plus an on-site bar, restaurant, billiard room and convenience store round out the offering. Open from May 15 to October 31.
