About

Pourvoirie Royaume Mac manages nearly 5,000 acres of private land in Saint-Théodore-d'Acton, in the Montérégie region, within hunting zones 6 North and 8 East. White-tailed deer are hunted on exclusive territories of about 100 acres per party — sites baited from early September, tree stands for bow, crossbow and firearm hunters, and a success rate of roughly 50% since 1993. The outfitter also offers wild-turkey hunting (about forty birds on the territory) and small-game hunting (hare, ruffed grouse/partridge, woodcock). The Renne river crosses the property east to west and holds small stocked brown trout, fished by wading, from a boat, or in a pond. Lodging is in fully equipped cabins (rented per cabin), and the site also lends itself to leisure stays: vacations, family gatherings, camping, plus a range of summer and winter activities (canoeing, hiking, cycling, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ATV, photo safari). A mobile hunting blind concept is also offered.
