Located in the La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve, Dorval Lodge is the only outfitter on the majestic Dozois Reservoir — 325 km² of water and 4,000 km of shoreline that deliver excellent walleye and pike fishing, with low pressure thanks to a limited season from May 15 to September 15. Several natural lakes and rivers, including the Ottawa River, are accessible from the lodge. The property features 27 cottages arranged around Desmarais Bay, all with 24-hour electricity, running water and fully equipped kitchens, on a European plan only, for groups of 1 to 24 people. Boats are available for rent: 16' boats (15 hp), 16'-18' boats (50-60 hp), and 20' and 25' pontoons. Easy access via Highway 117 (km 397), fully paved right to the entrance. Owners since 2004: Louis L'Écuyer and Nancy Labelle, with a dedicated and experienced team.
